10th Annual Women in Business Conference 2019

Our Mission

Purdue University Women in Business empowers women with confidence to reach their potential, equips them with the skills necessary to be successful, and educates them on the barriers they may encounter in the workplace. Women in Business builds a network with the goal of creating a world with more women leaders.

What is WIB?

Purdue University Women in Business is an organization made up of about 60 women and is based in the Krannert School of Management. Contrary to popular belief, we accept all majors! We are a group of women driven to foster relationships with each other, Purdue faculty, and professionals in the business world. Our organization strives to prepare our members for their careers by developing professionalism, communication skills, and leadership skills. Plus, it’s a great way to make friends!

LEADERSHIP

From a Community Service Associate to Vice President of Conference, we assign positions that suit your interests, each with it's own significance and worth. We aim  to foster leadership potential within our members and give them the opportunity to reach that potential.

GROWTH

We help WIB members adapt to change, adversity, and major opportunities. Our leaders are encouraged to try different positions every year; growth is vital to success. We provide worthwhile networking opportunities to help our community flourish. We share the goal to develop the versatile leader within our organization

EMPOWERMENT

Positivity, self empowerment, and affirmations have helped us break the prejudice that the corporate world is only led by men. We believe in equal oppourtunity and respect. Women are encouraged to improve and develop with every different task or activity.

WE MEET EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 7PM IN RAWLS Hall, AND OUR MEETINGS CONSIST OF SPEAKERS, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TOPICS, AND MEMBER DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES.
